Application Interpretation of Self-adaptive Glue Technology Lens

Technical solutions

When light passes through the interface with different refractive index, it will reflect at the interface. Interface reflection will produce light loss, calculated by the formula of light loss, each passing through a surface; there will be about 4% of the optical loss. As can be seen from the following picture, the light loss is about 8% when it passes through the lens.

By comparing the ordinary lens and the Turbine series of glue lens in the figure below, the self-adaptive glue technology  avoid two interface reflections and achieve an efficiency of more than 100%.

Summary of test data

From the data, we can find that when the color temperature is below 4000k, the efficiency of the lens is very high, even more than 100%. Raise the color temperature, the efficiency is slightly improved. But it can also maintain a higher efficiency.

As the color temperature of the light source increases, the drift value increases correspondingly.
